Icon AAL's ship free from every vendor I've seen, including Wheelers. That's a 43lb box.. Take into account that Wheelers AALS might be cheaper, but you still have to pay for shipping. So it's almost the same cost unless you live real close to Oregon.

I wouldn't say Icon is trying to cover anything, if they were they would probably have those clips made without "Made in Canada" stamped on them. Also who's to say where this Canada company gets the steel from to make the leafs. You would be surprised how how complex this whole manufacturing process can be.

    Enter company name below

    Designed by ________
    Material provided by ________

Yes, but "made in_________" notates that the item was fabricated there in legal terms. Not stating anything would be fine, but stating made in the USA at point of sale and having the product made in Canada is not legal. Not in Canada anyways. Maybe in the USA you can get away with that.

Actually, it brings Taylormade to mind. IIRC They had a legal battle in the USA years ago over this. The shafts and clubs were fabricated in Mexico/China and then assembled in the USA so they printed "made in USA" on the product. They ended up losing and being ordered to state where the shaft and head were made clearly and then stating "assembled in the USA". I know on my older golf driver it has a sticker with that complicated writing on it.

HAHAHA Abalama ;-) Icon's Made in the USA badge seems to be part of a standard bar on the website that is in every item window. Possibly just a minor oversight. Regardless... Does anyone else find it ironic that we are discussing "Made in the USA" pride on a forum for Toyota trucks?

Toyota has been the most American made manufacturer for decade or 2, I think. So kinda.

So should that matter? If an item is made in a first world country, or maybe one with a developmental index above .800, should it be okay to label the product made in the USA. I don't think so.

I was just stating that to me if something is made in the USA I expect it to be fabricated there. So does the law as far as I know. Maybe there is a loop hole that says because wheelers assembled the pack in the USA then it's made in the USA and that's fine, but Icon seems to just include the not assembled components which should state made in Canada then? That's my read on it. I'm not a lawyer but it seems logical.

Oh I agree, I guess I'm just thinking the product doesn't have a sticker that specifically says "Made in USA" on it. If they do and it has this "Made in Canada" stamp as well then that's just retarded.

I'm not going to bother to look on their website, so who knows what they claim there???

That quote puts a smile on my face every time I attempt to read it. As many times as I have, which is a lot, I still can't figure out what the hell it is he is trying to say. Its pretty powerful though whatever the hell it is.

Gotta ask... What was the point of getting a Pro to just change the suspension?

Unless you got inferno then that makes sense lol

I assumed that the rear suspension was upgraded, but the springs are stock. It squats something ugly, especially when running it supercharged and you really get after it. So I'm just beefing up the leafs a bit. I do have to say that I am really liking the suspension in the Pro... No plans on upgrading it until it fails.

IIRC the Pro has the stock rear leaves and no rear lift, so the vehicle can develop a bro lift look over time. AAL would stop that from happening.
