Awesome, going to order both this friday for sure. I have a grilcraft grill which is similar in open mesh design and I'm having an exposure issue with washing etc.

Finished prepping for the Rubicon. Rotated tires, washed the outside, cleaned the inside, and JB welded my CB handset hanger so hopefully it stops coming loose.

Just got my Firestone Ride Rite set and put together the pieces that I can do before the install. Daystar Cradles won't be here until Friday so mainly just prep work. Had a long talk with the tec at Firestone and his best advice for folks having questions about install is to call them. What he did tell me was that both single line and double line fill ups are OK. Double line is mainly for off center loads such as Campers and such and single line fill for normal use without large offset weights being hauled. He also said it is OK to let the wheels "hang" without letting the air out of the bags as long as you were not removing suspension parts, for a simple tire swap or brake job it is OK to leave them as is and it will not hurt the bags....their main concern is safety, not bag integrity, they don't want someone unbolting a suspension part with major psi in the bags and having things grenade from the airbag pressure...once again, a liability issue to cover their ass. Same thing for the Daystar Cradles, their main issue is that Firestone's stance is that the bags should be secured to the vehicle at both ends for safety reasons....he stated they have not had any bag failures attributed to the Cradles, simply a liability issue with Firestone. Will most likely install the airbags this Sunday, looks like a much simpiler install on the Taco than it was on my Tundra so hopefully all will go well. Also dug out the Factory Door Sill Protectors that I got for Xmas and installed them. Quick install and looks good. Still have to decide on where to put my Brake Controller....thinking about notching the cubby where the parking brake used to be on old trucks and putting it there.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Towed this home. Now something else to mod.

Very Nice! Does it have the kitchen in the back like the old stuff, or simply a sleeping pod?

Been busy with work so no changes on the truck, but I did just do a bit of reading in the manual and found out my 2015 TRD sport 4x4 with tow package has a tow rating of 6200lbs instead of 6500lbs like I thought the tow package is rated for. It's only 300lbs and the only thing I plan on towing in the future is a wakeboard boat (3-4k +1k trailer and gear ~ 5500ish max). Anyone know why it's a lower tow rating?

4x4 and I believe the long-bed lower the rating.

There's 2 other 4x4 options that are at 6500, but I never would have guessed a long bed lowers the tow rating. I'll be about 1000 below max so that isn't an issue. I had just never seen the 6200 rating anywhere until now.

Put my brothers dog in for his last ride. It was his first and only time in the truck :(

The vet was very good and we put him down at the river, where he is now buried. Hug your pups.
