    The Festool stuff is awesome. We used their sanders and specialty tools at my last job, building cabinets and such. Expensive, but worth the money. Highly effective, long lasting, and well built tools.

    When using the 6" palm sander and vac , is it really dust free ? As in , could you sand inside a finished house ?

    Which sander? The orbital ones are really great with the dust collector. That's exactly what we bought it for, is finish sanding and stuff in a dust sensitive environment. The little non-orbital sander is very dust free, as well. The setting dials on each tool give you a lot of flexibility.

    Oh, yeah! Good choice. We do have one of those sanders. It's probably the most dust free one there is. Super easy to use, too. You can really set it with the right sand paper, speed, and suction and just let the tool do the work.

    That dust collector is bad ass, too. I haven't had the chance to use that one but we have the small & medium sized ones at my wood shop. They are definitely worth the money. Great features and reliability. I only imagine the bigger one to be better in the same ways. I love using Festools together with the auto-turn on dust collection. There are a lot of other tools that the dust collectors are compatible with, too. We use it with our DeWalt chop saw to help with the dust when cutting moldings, we've used it with our Fein Multi Tool, and several others.
