I'm a Jets fan. I've hated the Pats for more than 30 years.

No one would be talking about this by now if the Pats had just cooperated with the investigation or owned up to it. I think it's less about the balls at this point

How the hell did a Jets fan end up in Oregon? Were you trying to escape from the Ghettolands?

I'm no Patriots fan, either. My team has 5 Lombardi Trophies. Brady was going to be screwed regardless of whether or not he cooperated. So many out there despise him that it wouldn't have mattered. I have to say, however, that it's looking pretty silly now. Time to take the heat and move on. It will never go away, though.

Whether it's deflategate, or the Saints paying bonuses to injure other players, or stupid shit like
Ndamukong Suh stomping on players legs!
Cheating sucks no matter which team is doing it!

I'm a die hard Pittsburgh STEELERS fan(born in Pittsburgh 1973)and focus on my team in general like all of us die hard fans do i assume.Yes there are teams that i dislike more than others but my point is that i'm so sick about hearing about Tom Brady! This is going to be talked about until the season approaches and most likely throughout the season and be brought up at the superbowl!Ridiculous!

I thought Harbaugh was a crazed individual, but he got the 9ers to a whole new level. Unfortunately, there was conflict in the front office. Too much ego, too much testosterone. In the end the Yorks win out, and the 9ers are in limbo. Jed York is no Eddie DeBartolo. And Balke is no Carmen Policy. Tough times ahead. I do think Tomsula will be fine, and the 9ers still have a a lot of talent. Should be an interesting season ahead.

I'm "cautiously optimistic" I think the Niner's were in limbo last season. Harbaugh looked like his mind was elsewhere about mid season and it went downhill from there.
Losing Roman was a plus, but Chryst as O.C. who knows?

So I hear about this whole "Top 100 players" thing that the NFL does every year, where they poll players (most of whom don't even fill the damned thing out, according to my twitter feed) to tabulate the results.

So, last night, I'm playing Civ and jamming some tunes, and I see Aaron Rodgers get named #2. I *eyeroll* and mumble "That cheatin' cunt Brieber took #1 again, eh?"

    Then...

Not a big fan of the top 100 but it's a joke that Chris Harris Jr. isn't in the top 100 at all.... I'm biased but he deserves to be in there

    is over-rated.

Now, I can already hear the assholes slam shut and the gasp of incoming air to the lungs as the whinefest is about to be unleashed, but hang on and hear me the hell out a second.

First off, he's got 4 goddamned rings. Cheating or not, that's an impressive array of hardware, and it CANNOT be overstated. In that alone he's an amazing QB.

He's also a model of both consistency and hard work. He impresses the hell out of me for one thing more than any other: his approach to his mechanics. He knows he isn't the fastest, strongest, smartest, most athletic, etc. He KNOWS that if he pays real attention to his mechanics and constantly is at top form, he can be really, really good in Bill Belicheats offense. And he does. He spends more hours a week (even after 14 years) just on his footwork than you do masturbating. That's saying something. And he does this of his own volition even in the offseason. I love watching tape of his play, because basically every play is a model that you could use to show a high school kid "Here's how you throw a fucking football properly" and walk them through the entire process. He's literally a walking training room video on almost every snap.

HOWEVER, here comes the over-rated part:

The caveats to his game and his success come as part of a package deal. He's an all-time success in New England under Bill Belicheat and that offense...AND that defense and special teams. You take Brady (or Manning, for that matter) and put them in Jacksonville or Cleveland or Tampa and they'd be (a) dead by week 6 from the constant beating they take behind a shitty oline, or (b) winning around 25% of his starts. It's a team sport more than pretty much any other, the NFL...and without all the parts just so, you get .500 or less teams.

You get up in his grill and Lil Tommay Brieber loses his shit quite quickly and breaks down. Plus his propensity to whine and pule and bitch on the sideline at his teammates is a big deal.

Overall, frankly, I'd put him around #10 in the league right now. When he's got a spotless clean uni and no pressure, he can execute the offense well, but its a group thing. As a standalone, he's good to very good. But he's hella over-rated. "Best all time?" child please. He doesn't have the sauce to sniff Joe Montana's jock strap from across the street.

How the FUCK does an NFL player (2) blow off their fucking fingers with fireworks? You have enough money... PAY SOMEONE TO DO IT.
