Browsing the last few pages. Still the good LT drama the regulars come to love. Seeing a lot more of new usernames in here then I used to. Poor bastards don't know what they are getting into

Wow awesome article! Although it doesn't really say the spline count on the axles for either... The e locker says it's based off the v6/turbo diff which is a 30 spline axle and there is no real info on the 8.4...

$265 but they are made to go around factory spare tire x member so if you plan on cutting it out like me you would be better off with @jeffz0rz. On another note after talking again with solo and crawling under my truck I will definitely have to go with a 9" cause my frame doesn't dove tail like a short bed does. I was hoping to run the 8" diff for a while but now that it's a no go I'm wondering if I can run a semi floater since they are half the price of a full float. I would think it would be pretty fuckin hard to break a 35 spline axle?

allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
Go semi float. Your not going to break a 35 spline chromo shaft anytime soon. With the money you save throw a locker in there.

Looking at it again it says the elocker is 30 spline.

So should be good with either axle.

This, even tho I still kick myself for not going full since its the only thing I cheaped out on. But our 200hp 4.0l's are never going to break a 35 spline axle like you said and I was able to build the crap out of my third with the money I saved.

What do you LT guys think about the 4-Link Trailing arms on this KOH rig? They appear to be everything thing I want as my rig is a rock and desert setup. Most of the trailing arms I see hang way to low and look like they are ready to get bent up or get you stuck on a trail. This one is aligned with the frame and axle so you don't have any issues about getting hug up and don't have 8" of BS hanging below the shock mounts.

they're going to drag them at some point, its just kind of the nature of it. build them strong with quality materials and be prepared to replace them every so often so have good measurements or a jig. its all geometry and such and someone can explain it better than I can but its really about ride height and pivot mounts and less about the bend in the arm. the flatter link you posted has a really low sub-frame which is why they are able to keep the angle between the trailing arm and the mount so flat.
