Ok, I take it back. I realiazied, for some reasons, yesterday after setting the bass and treble for the first time, the setting never stayed. When I went home from work, I checked and they were all at default values, all zeros. After setting them again, my mp3 cd sounded much better now.

The camera isn't bad either. Once you move much closer to the objects you can tell they are close enough to stop.

Sorry for speaking too early. I have no time to play around with the new truck.

    Thanks

Your original review had me worried for a second. I've done aftermarket setups in all of my past vehicles (since I've never had the money to spring for upgraded audio systems). I've promised myself my next truck will be fully loaded.

Sure, aftermarket sounds great, but it's a real PITA trying to find places to hide amps. And I've never been able to purchase a subwoofer smaller than 12 inches....Taking up half of the cargo space I originally had. I want my next truck to be clean, while still sounding great.

Yeah, after-market upgrades were for my old college days. It didn't matter who installed them, always messy and problems later. I had a fancy Harman Kardon amp/sub in my van but after our first kid, I gave them all away. I don't even listen to music anymore, just news or the sound of my muffler :) But the Tacoma is too quiet now so maybe I use the CD more.

It stores settings for each source.. so if you set it on radio, and switched to aux, it would have different settings stored.

Yes, that was exactly what I did, I set it for the radio and when I played the cds I thought the the changes were made. Nice feature, because I set it flat for news.
