Got 3 coats on the valence so far. Can't get my damn scoop insert out. The nut seems to have rusted onto the bolt. I have to wait until my wife gets back with the other car that has my tools in it because it totally makes sense to keep them in the Prius

 

anyone interested in a set of retroed headlights? 05-11 painted all black, did them myself a couple years ago and just recently decided i wanted to go back to stock headlights. theres pics of them in my build thread of when they were on my truck. driverside does tend to fog up from time to time other than that they are good

 

It's got a shinier spot in the middle that I can't tell if it's just not dry yet or if I messed it up. Probably the latter...I'll give some time and see if it evens out and if not, peel it off and try again

How did it mess up?

 

I showed my daughter she said OMG that's badass!

 

I tried to correct a small spot that had bubbled up and made it worse and then over compensated by spraying that one spot more than the rest of it so it was thicker and shinier in one spot over the rest. Looked like it had a big grease spot on it

 

If not received the badge should be there tomarow

Gettin ready for mud boggs we decided to put some F150 seats in the bed lol

 

I felt my age creeping up. I was helping a kid that comes to my computer shop (maybe 17) put spacers on his truck and I had Beastie boys playing, I asked if he was cool with that playing. But had no idea who the Beastie boys were

 

Not as awesome, but I was playing Limp Bizkit about 5 years ago or so, my buddy had no idea who fred durst was.... lol, he was askin me about this new band... i couldnt stop laughing.

 

Oh yes, here we go. So those seats in the bed got even more redneck after we figured out we needed to be higher to see what was goin on.


So here it is ladies and gents, in all its glory. F150 seats complete with seatbelts in case cops get angry. Center console from a super duty(doubled as our beer cooler) and hinges on the plywood so we could fit the bigger cooler underneath and close the door.
