I dont have a lift yet, but should hopefully have either 5100s or 885's and an AAL soon. I keep drooling over a LT kit so I am thinking of buying a cheap lift for now and save for either a TC or All Pro long travel kit.

Hey everyone I would be interested in this run since Im only 10 minutes from the trail. The obsticle course is good for everyone that wants to attempt what they are comfortable with. From extreme to beginner. So once we can pick a date I will be there 4 sure. There is a few good just long dirt roads that go east into Lake county as well and might run into some water as well. Whatever it will be good.:D

How about we get a couple of dates set out for this then narrow it down to really make it happen. Lets shoot for September... Any suggestions on which weekend would work the best for people??

    Ok, So I'm new here.
But cow is my playground, right at my backdoor, did you guys do this run yet?
I have mainly played in summer as it gets pretty wet up here in the winter and I don't have another vehicle to back me up.

If you haven't done it yet, lets do it. I'm free any weekend.

Hey everyone this is still on, BUT they close it down when it rains more than a 1/2" of rain then wont open it till 48hrs of dry weather.
On the other hand there is another good run that is just a little further north east, called HULL MTN. Its the Discovery trail. I just did it with a friend this Last Sunday at it was awesome.
I will try to upload some pics and any questions about it I will try to answer them.
Its nothing to serious but I have had to use 4 lo and My locker to get up one part and so it does have some good parts.

Will a Prerunner be able to make it?

For the most part it could, But where I had to pull up my friend we were both in 4 lo. We took a side road and it was pretty steep and rutted out. But Ive got a winch and tow straps so its possible. Up to you.
The main run is not bad at all its a main dirt road with awesome scenery and round trip is about 160 miles from Hwy 20 to Hwy 101.

I might be down for this. Is this going to be Cow or Hull? And do you think my stock TRD sport 4x4 will be ok wherever you decide to go? I'm a newb to leaving the asphalt.

Check new post in Nor Cal thread under Hull Mtn.
Just though I would start a new Thread for the ones who might want to do a Run thru Hull Mtn. Cow Mtn is good but they close the gates if there is any rain and wont open them until 48 hrs of dry weather.
So it is a great place and a good course for offroading but it can be dissappointing if weather isnt good.
