Haha ya I had that bug forever. I decided I didn't want to be dd'ng crawlers anymore. Plus I'm not really into it anymore. However, I do still love the eye candy :bananadance:

The best is The Game's (Brian, I think is his name) rig. I have read the whole pirate thread 3 times and the one on here too. That truck is just pure badassery...

I do like Joemama's too. Boogerweldz over on pirate builds some cool stuff too. In fact one of his trucks inspired me to get my 1st tacoma. Then mine was stolen, recovered, and parted out. I saw Brian's build and that's when I decided I was getting a DC next for sure lol.

Rock solid toys has some nice builds too. There's a few others on here that I like too: Gear Head, 45acp, and Supra TT are all I can think of right now.

For those of you running the trail gear bumper where are you mounting fog lights on it?

I've done a mod or two
Well, I am now out another 900 and change because when they sent the head out to be pressure tested and milled they found 4 cracks in it. So new head and new gasket and all the other fun goodies that come with building a head. The crew that is building it are super cool about everything and helping as much as possible though.

Unfortunately for @45acp by the time his rig is finally built, we will have run out of gasoline.

So he'll only have two options as that point:

    1. Cut it apart and rebuild it as a plug-in.

    Or

    2. Go full Mad Max with it and start mobbing deserts in search of petrol to pillage.

I wonder how hard it would be to get it to run on ethanol or methanol haha.

Anyone on here run castrol synthetic 75-90 gear oil in their diffs? I bought some but not sure if I should return it to find some redline or something. The Toyota manual says gl-5 so I think it should be fine ?

I ran that with no problems at all. Mobil 1 synthetic was fine for me too.
