That looks clean. Did you fab the plate or were you able to buy one somewhere?

That's kind of what it looks like. There aren't any welds that I can see in the picture.

We actually purchased their rear shock relocation kit a while back. Just recently had everything welded up and it came out great. We had some questions during the install and they were quick to respond and very helpful. Overall we are very pleased with the outcome and would have to agree with the comment made above regarding quality of fab work.

Great folks to deal with for sure :)

I got it from @squint0241 and I believe he got it from Beefed Taco. If I remember correctly, he waited a very long time to get these after he ordered them. They are made good and fit perfectly. They came PC and with hardware to just bolt up.

Does anyone have a measurement of the hole if I wanted to order those plastic caps? I'm at work and can't get to my truck to measure

When I get my hybrid I'll be doing the same since I'll have some more exposed parts.

    ORDER HERE

Camera Relocation Mount is a “universal mount” so can be mounted vertically or horizontally & is mounted off-center, just as it is in the OEM position (tailgate handle.)

**Can NOT be mounted with the gate hi-lift jack option! Our bedside hi-lift mount is a great alternative.

    DISCLAIMER:
Due to Toyota camera manufacturing variations, there appears to be at least two different cameras on the Tacoma's. Pelfreybilt includes both styles with your order, to allow you to choose the best fit for your camera. If for some reason neither configuration works-please let us know so we can assist with making one that fits your truck.
Thank you to @Adamar85 & @Tretiak30 for your help with the development of this gadget-couldn't have done it without you!! :)

NOTE: May require extending factory harness

Has anybody ordered the standard rear bumper only to later wish they had gotten the tire swingout? Is it possible to add the swingout at a later date with just some steel cutting? I'm asking ... for a friend.

The spindle is integrated into the bumper so I don't think so but I guess you could drill a hole and weld in a supplied spindle maybe?

The actual bumper is different though for a swing out version, it comes out more for space for the spindle and gate.

It is tormenting waiting on the powder coating place to open. I would much rather my new bumper be on the front of the truck rather than in the bed of my truck. :annoyed:

We've had several people want the hi-clearance but scared to cut the bedsides so get the standard and then regret it, sell it and buy the hi-clearance

Each of the bumpers are different if you add the gate so no, the fate can't be added later. It's designed to fit the gate like a glove so adding it late wouldn't work. My suggestion is to buy it the way you want it the first time not make do and buy it again... Just my personal philosophy
