    Problem:
Purchased 2 additional batteries for the blade and went to charge... Got a steady "red" light which by the indicator icon means "error"??? 2 of these 3 batteries have only 2-3 flights on them...
    Thoughts?
I checked the charger and the fuse is good. Flashes green that it's "ready to charge"
Bummer because My Mother-in-Law wants me to demo this for the tech staff at her school district next week. :(

We had a guy do that with a truck we were selling once. We were in Utah at the time. He flew all the way from Washington. All he saw were pictures of it. We picked him up at he airport..all he had was a small jacket! We drove straight to the bank, exhanged money, THEN he looked at it and drove it all the way back. We were like dude you're way too trusting! Haha. He said he trusted my dad since he was in the military and that was all he needed.

He found our number and called us three years later and said he still had it and loves it haha

My dad just ordered a DJI phantom 3 professional for his birthday, still waiting on delivery though.

He's hoping to use it to help bid jobs for his dirt/land clearing business and see if he can drum up some business with local real estate agents to take Ariel pictures for listings.

Has anyone figured out a good backpack setup? I want to take my quad on my moto. I'm thinking large 3 day assault pack style pack that I can fill with foam and cut out holes for the gimbal etc, then strap the frame on the back... my hexa is way too big to go inside anything short of a rifle case

Do any of you recognize this FPV hardware? Buddy has it for sale, $75.00 for me. It's brand new never even mounted. Will this even work on my Phantom?

Yeah, he just dropped for a P3P and don't need it any longer. It's got a mount for the monitor for my radio and couple other cables. I'm going to buy it, maybe to try and flip it.

Purchased new? What does the charger do when you plug the original battery to the charger?

Grab one of these: cheap and gets the job done http://www.getfpv.com/1-8s-lipo-bat...gle_shopping&gclid=CNW6hJHcz8YCFQYQaQodvPYPxQ

Nothing fancy like you guys, just a Phantom 1. I designed some new landing gear and had it 3D printed, it just came today so had to throw it on there. First time ever 3D modeling anything, and it turned out pretty niiiice. Will have to make a few small changes for the next round, but for now I'm happy.

The charger indicator states "ready to charge" but as soon as I plug a battery - any battery - in it I get a steady red which according to the charger means "error".
I honestly have no clue what to do.
My old RC car chargers had volt meters built in and switches for different modes like "discharge" & stuff.
This ones "solid state" so I'm kind of stumped as to where to go with the issue. :(
I've labeled each battery so I can tell them apart and have run each one until they were "finished"
I've also been pretty anal retentive about the charging - always supervised as directed.

Without knowing actual cell voltage you won't be able to discern where the problem lies. Also you say you ran it until done. Please explain that in detail.
Solid red means low battery voltage. You may have over discharged your lipos. In that case the charger will not attempt to charge.

It's doubtful that you over discharged your batteries. Most current systems will not allow that as they have low voltage shut offs in their software.
