i have question for you???

Are you running a front bumper camera if so is your image reversed. How did you remedy this?

 

oops, answered the question in Nathan's build before I saw it here.

a lot of monitors have a mirror button, which can flip and mirror the image to whatever is the correct orientation for the application. you can also get non mirrored cameras on Amazon for under $20.

pup learned that he loves hanging out the window over the weekend. still pretty small though, so at anything over 30 mph, he gets blown back into the truck.

 

2016 is my goal as well! Although our wedding date is set for October 2016, Hopefully it all works out

yeah, he's always on the leash when the window is down. had a couple of friends lose dogs that way because they were too lazy (or stupid) to clip a leash on and have the passenger hold on. only takes one time to lose your buddy out the window.....

I did mine at home. Just pull out the drive shaft undo the u joint, take the nut off and then I used a pair of two jaw pullers to pull the carrier bearing off. The new one should just slide on with a little grease. I then used a combination of a ball joint remover tool, sockets and a bench vise. The bench vise and socket technique worked the best for putting the u joints back together. Just make sure you don't put to much grease into the new u joint cups. And don't forget to use a punch on the side of carrier nut after you torque it to set it. Hit me up if you have any more questions

 

Finally have some time this weekend to work on the truck. two items on the list are to replace a shot carrier bearing, and install the filler neck or sorts for my aux tank.

Plan for the aux tank filler is to use a marine deck filling port. I'm going to cut a piece of plate and weld it to the bed rack to hold the fill port in place. if it can hold up in a marine environment, it'll do just fine for the truck. also using marine grade universal hose, compatible with gasoline

I would say you need to get them but the Male connector is $300 and the female end is $260, and that dosent include tubing or the dump can, which is another $210
