    Planning a trip around Lake Erie at the end of this month for a week long trip. Going up to Cleveland Ohio and then around to Detroit into Canada and back around to Niagra falls in buffalo NY. This is my first time going into Canada and have all my passports and paperwork ready. We will be camping the whole time if I can and not have to stay in a hotel. I have a led bar on top and go lights on a rack that have be concerned as I don't know the laws on that. I have asked in the Tacoma world Canada thread for info. Any idea of places to stop if anybody has been up this way? We plan on stopping in Detroit, London, near Niagra falls, and Cleveland Oh.

    Holy shit that's a lot of driving. What are you taking? And you're gonna stop in Detroit and Cleveland? Any particular reason? Detroit is rough. I was there for 2 months and drove all over the city. I was staying in Auburn Hills which is where The Palace is aka Detroit Pistons arena but man theres nothing cool about Detroit. It's like the bad parts of Memphis but the whole damn city!!

    Might not spend the night but will stop in and see something. I have a friend that lives near Cleveland and going to spend the weekend with her. Then Monday start the trip around Lake Erie with stops along the way I am sure a night north of the lake and then a couple nights around buffalo then back to Cleveland and home I got 9 days to do it. Going to take the truck and pack everything in it to camp and eat out of. Should be a cool little expo out of the states.

    Go through Chicago if you can. It's a beautiful city especially down town on the lake. If its nice out you will see hundreds of sail boats and people out on the beach
