just got my grillcraft mesh in, been working on this grill for a little while.
total learning experience with the hot air plastic welding, but it turned out ok.
My silver paint should be in today and now im having trouble deciding.
should I put the mesh in front, behind or scrap it and get something else I can put about half way in.(but that would involve bending ,cutting and MORE painting lol and then I got to sell this grillcraft)

I voted middle because I am indecisive...

I think it would look best in the middle because it gives you best of both worlds.

    Go deep dish.

Middle is weird...like you wanted it deep but didn't get it there.

i mounted mine in the front.. I like the smooth lines plus it give s you way more room if you wanted to put lights behind it. But i just don;t like the caved in look.. to each their own though...

    hmmmmm!!!

Im thinking maybe front with lights behind it.
I'll get it painted and see.
If I do it in the front, there will be less hassle with mounting.

I say Back (Satoshi)...cause anyone can buy the Grillcraft MX Upper/Lower and attach it to the front of the grille...but it takes a poised person with patience to make a SATOSHI...+IMHO Satoshi looks a lot better then stock or front flush mounted...you don't see many Satoshi's once you leave TW.com...

My Satoshi (RGM, RBM, and RT recessed triangles) although in this picture the triangles were completed yet...using the Grillcraft MX Upper/Lower and MX Raw mesh powdercoated gloss black for my CF Hood and the triangles...
