Anyone ever sold a vehicle through "Exclusive Auto Outlet"? Are they a scam?

of course its my first post i dont post on forums, my buddy told me about this forum, im just saying i sold my truck through them , like its not my opinion its a FACT r u guys for real (didnt even ask me a question just making statements right) , what r u forum nazis lol, i sold my truck i was happy, who cares what u think, if u had 500 bucks maybe u wouldnt waste ur time on these forums, i sold my truck and i was pleased. so thank u very much

 

None of us beleive you because of their shady business model, I meen if they can't deduct their $500 from the cash the buyer hands them, I'm thinking they wouldn't be above creating accounts on here to "promote" them and "praise" them

Was looking for some tact or diplomacy in that however found it a tad bit rude. People sign up on this web site to garner some insight from other WELL MEANING people, whom are considerate, and offer factual information obtained from first hand experience, and these forums from which to meet new people and where to discuss a range of topics. I consider it an honor of sorts and a blessing to be able to have the wealth of information at hand, or the people who REALLY KNOW what they're talking about with respect to Tacomas in one place as to be able to get their advice or opinions. For free. And everyone gets along!

So to everybody here on TW, thanks a million already for helping me form my own opinions about my awesome Tacoma. For all that information that helps me decide how to make my truck... my truck. Just so you know, it hasn't been a waste of times in these forums at all. Like some people even suggest.

Meh, it's like the first hit when people Google that company, so I'm sure all these 1 poster tards are just trying to keep this post bumped and hope idiots will just read their posts and not us calling them tards

 

This company has called me 1-3 times a week for the last 3 weeks...

 

I got a bunch of calls from crap like this when I put my truck on CL. I flat out refused to talk to them after listening to the spiel from 3 different companies. Maybe they were legit and could have sold my car....but all of their 'business plans' include the seller putting ALL of their trust into the company...as they can basically steal your car and you're fucked.

 

Yeah, except all these guys do is throw your car up on their relatively mediocre website and say they have finance approvals for people with poor credit to buy your car. They don't take a look at what you have or send someone out to appraise your car. They just say they have connections to buyers that want your car now. The hang up is they want their $500 ahead of time, even though they say they have buyers lined up for your car ahead of time. That makes no sense. If you have a buyer how about you sell my car and take the $500 from the sale. Nope, they just make a bunch of half promises on their site about all the buyers that they have, take your money, and then your left in the wind not knowing what is going on.

 

They inquire fast and get you to sign fast. Guys I'm an entrepreneur and I like to try new things and so I said yes. Exclusive auto outlet ripped me off. They took $500 and did not give me my service. I am going to report this to RCMP or the city police. Luckily I'm well off financially, but I don't want others to get trapped!!

You'd just be plain stupid to have someone sell your vehicle like that. I could pay myself 500 bucks to post it online, keep it current, and handle the transaction. Sheesh.

I just got a call from these guys too.totally a scam!


I'm fairly certian they don't sell a lot of vehicles. Either way, i'm not giving them $500.00 to sell my car! I have it listed on Kijiji and autotrader and if it goes it goes. i've sold vehicles the "free" way and if you throw out all the "crap" calls that come through and focus on the people that are local and actually want to come see your car they are more legit. also, asking for a certified bank cheque is always a good option.

I am glad i read this post. It's sad that people actually fall for this stuff! Never give someone your money that you don't know. and do your homework. Honestly, with the internet these days there is no excuse. You can search things out and figure out what is legit and what's not. Honestly people! if these guys were SOOOO good and selling vehicles, they would be the talk of the town!

So now i'm interested to see if they call me back! based on what you guys have said so far on here, they call about 3 times a week. I will be sure to ask them questions that STUMP them. I love doing that to telemarketers.... Even Scammers! I will try to post what gets said

And if you are getting calls from these people - Don't do business with them.
