Putting speakers in but......this little fucker is holding up the whole show:mad:

i pushed in on the ribbed tab but NOTHING about this harness is "sliding" out. Does the whole white piece slide out or just the little sleeve with all the wires attached in it?

    Any suggestions? (before cutting wheel:p)

If there aren't any other tabs and isn't coming out when you depress that tab, try using a small flat head screwdriver to gently pry it out. Sometimes they're just difficult.

    You Should add this:

    Alpine KTP-445U Power Pack

Now put one of these and they will sound great.

Installed mine on top of the head unit ,lots of wire splicing but its worth it.

Installed in line with all the speakers and powered it up with one of the spare outlets.

let me know if you need the color codes for speaker wires...

Added led lights to the map lights, wired them off the dome light so that they come on when i unlock or open the doors. The picture is me soldering wires together to connect to the dome light so I don't have to splice or cut any wires. There is a lead that comes off this that connects to both map lights which are now led boards similar to this.

Replaced the door speakers with 6.5" component speakers

    That's it for today.2015-07-10 13.11.43.jpg

With my 10" DVD HU they sound amazing. Lot o thump and loud ( I've had stereo systems in my vehicles in the $5000 range over the years) for right now this will do until I add a sub and 2 amps.

Install was simple except the rear door spacers I bought. They wouldn't fit the rear fosgates so I had to take tin snips cut plastic away and modify the hell out them but they worked great when done.

Only other thing that really pissed me off was losing every single pin except for one in the upper panels of each of the 4 doors :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: Now I need to find them on EBAY or something to replace them.

    These little bastards:

I picked up another piece for my trailer build. I wad going to use this truck vault for my bed but it's way too big. Now I'll use it as the floor.

After having competition type systems in my vehicles of the past , I'm dumbing it way down. I ain't 25 anymore:D If I find something I like that has great reviews and is fairly inexpensive then I'll go for it. I research the shit out of stuff and monitor prices daily. My DVD head unit was under $100.00 (it's $176.00 now) , my 2 headrest monitors were free. My new Fosgate fronts and rears were less than $60.00 total now over $80.

Now i want an amp to run fronts n rears and a 10" shallow sub in a box with amp behind rear seat.

    Thinking something along these lines:
