It sounds like you were one of them but Ide still say that there will always be people who are willing to take the risks, put in the hours, and fork up the dough. All to break parts, re-build them, and break them again. Because hauling ass over terrain most vehicles have no business even traversing over on a suspension system that has taken serious sacrifice to acheive is pure Adrenaline Filled American Awesomeness. :oldglory::cheers:

most do it to put the rod ends on the shocks at or below the center line of the links. It keeps the links from rolling and bending shocks shafts when you have uniballs and heims at the end.

Sounds easy enough. Thanks dude. Do I need grease or anything else? Just 2 hoseclamps? Getting axles from napa, $89/new/lifetime warr.....Can I reuse clamps that come with them? Like many of us any buck I can save I'm all for it.....

Also, my clutch is slipping under the turbos power. Wanted to pick everybody's brains on what the best replacement would be. Flywheel, pressure plate, etc....?

I love my dual composit LCE clutch. a million times better than the heavy duty marlin crawler clutch, and a billion times better than stock.

Jberry was saying the other day the TRD clutch with the LCE flywheel is great.

So my truck is a dd.....I'm going to about 400ft lbs. I noticed one is star looking and the other round. Is the LCE race clutch too harsh for a dd?

I think the street kit would be the best for a DD the other clutch kits are a much stiffer clutch pedal feel and a bit jerky.

I agree. I have the pro kit on my second gen which is one step above the street kit. It's a bit stiffer.... Not horrible but I kinda wish I would have tried the street kit. It's not as enjoyable in reverse with the reverse gear being so tall. Hopefully 35s will make it feel better.

any advice on second gen CV boot replacements / upgrades while swapping out to LT axles ? I've read that the silicone high angle boots will only fit on the inner but will rub on the outer ? Any experience or advice ? Just get the rubber boot kit from SDHQ ?

Got any pics of your links? I'm in the wishful thinking stage of linking my truck, but haven't seen many that will shocks out of the cab. Might stretch the wheelbase and run regular bedsides.
