Did the LED dome light / map light swap. Dramatic difference, and it took all of 3 minutes.

Check out post 2. It's basically saying that Tow ratings are a load of crap. I was reading on this the other day, and IIRC, our GCVWR for the DCSB 4x4 was 11,100 lbs, but our GVWR is 5500lbs, leaving us 5600 lbs of actual towing capacity. Now, how much our truck will actually weigh loaded determines how much we can actually tow. Only way to know that is with a truck scale.

Did my LED swap the other day as well; then at night I saw that the dome light stays on very faintly unless I turn the switch off manually. Think it has something to do with the auto-dimmer-off circuit or something. Annoying me.

    Nice. What lift kit?

I'm considering the Old Man Emu 2-2.5" type. The more I think about it the more lift I want. But I don't want more than 3".

I was going back and forth between 3 and 6... I am so glad I went with the 3. Truck looks so much better in person. Pictures do not do it justice. It's a pro comp suspension lift kit. Nothing special. May switch to coilovers when I save some more $$$.

That rack hanging from the ceiling. Not something I did "with" the truck, but something I did "for" it, to get more junk off the floor and the truck in the garage. I may get 3-4 more of them, started with one just to see how easily in installs and if I like it.

Big Milestone, ToyotaCare 5,000 mile service... Truck didn't blow up or fall apart on the way home and oil levels looked good at the house.

Vacuumed the carpets and did a little interior detailing with some Meguiars Interior Detailer.

May give her a bath later and install my OME driveline spacer... Too damn hot for anything else right now!

image.jpg Finished up my Bench to bucket conversion in my 2007 reg cab this afternoon. I installed the buckets the other day and just got my center console installed today. Only problem is the latch for the lid is missing. Other than that it turned out good. Only had $260 in seats and console

I picked the seats up off a guy for $120 for the pair and got the console on eBay for $140.

Front bilstein 5100 with OME 884 w/trim pack, 17" fuel trophy wheels wrapped with 32" toyot open country m/t, bakflip fibermax tonneau cover, Avec 30" led light bar behind lower grille, marathon seat covers in max 5 camo pattern, trimmed front and rear mud flaps, more to come.

I checked his stuff out but from what I read he doesn't do anything for 14's yet. Just up to 12's.
