You must have missed the 1000 posts from Toyota people telling us how there is no special order or preference requesting for individuals or dealerships straight from Toyota.

I am guessing neither one of you know how allocation requests work :) I have first dibs on my dealers allocation request just like when I bought my 14 4Runner. just remember allocation requests can take longer to get to your dealer than popular requests.

and for those that have actually seen the allocation request screen on the Toyota Dealer internal website know what I mean.

I ordered mine on Thursday and picked what I wanted. Mind you I'm in Canada so maybe it's different. The dealer did say they had only one allotment order available for July. They said I should get the truck sometime in September.

Yeah and what are the available colors? This is something you would know if you did indeed preorder the vehicle.

I didn't look at all the configurations as I was only interested in the double cab. In Canada when you order the double cab auto it comes as a long box. I got the TRD Sport and there is an upgrade package that gives you the moon roof and tech. What I could not get with the TRD sport is the JBL and leather seats. I would have to go to the Limited for that. Color was blazing blue. They also have the inferno orange, silver, white, black, beige, and red from what I can remember.

Sorry I didn't get all the configurations for the different tricks as I was only interested in the double cab 4x4.

I would have went with the limited but I really wanted the hood scoop and for that you have to get the sport.

I guess I should have added I wanted a hood scoop so that limited me to the TRD sport so I did not ask about the off road or other models.

Sorry I can't answer that question as I don't know. I wanted the hood scoop so I got the Sport.

Good question but I doubt Toyota has changed on this issue. One can only hope.

The fully loaded sport DCLB with tech was $38715. I heard toyota will accept your first born as a down payment.

The sport could be 38k if you want all the JBL and EVERYTHING else. It was 34 by itself on the list

Was jbl not available? It should be in the US. Or you just were not able to get one with it?

Yes, for a DCLB Sport 4wd $34k, which as I pointed out in a similar thread is a $3k increase from the equivalent 2015 version. And the poster above asked what it was with sunroof and tech package, so the loaded version which is $38k. Regardless, the new ones cost a bit more, no arguing that.

Yeah I was wondering on the Canadian price as I am in Canada and was interested to see how much more we have to pay.

I understood, just hopefully you could infer based on current US/Canada price differences. So if its a $3k increase for the USA customers, it should be a $3k difference for Canada as well one could infer.
