I need a Hobby

I need a hobby that is not my truck, gets too expensive, video games, and that is not reading every single post on TW.

Any ideas? Something I can build, create, work on at night / weekends. Maybe something that I could sell afterwards?

I am quite active outdoors and play a lot of ice hockey but sometimes I need something else to do with my free time.

 

Old school late 80's / early 90's jet ski...the stand up kind.

x2 go to the driving range, i do to kill an hour or two before i have class or something.. or get away from the girlfriend.

r/c's but they arent cheap either, pretty much all hobbies are expensive actually so i give up

 

Surfing...OH WAIT..HAHA Colorado. Try jiu jitsu, unless you have an aversion to getting your face ground into a mat 3 times per week.

I already golf quite a bit, 7 handicap, played in school
Streaking is a decent idea.
R/C's are fun rather put the money in the truck.
We surf here but it is on snow, I try to get to baja once a year for that.
Don't have a gun for shooting, last time we were throwing skeet we were up in the mountains, i threw one off over a valley, it feel about 1,000 feet and hit a biker square in the leg, no joke, he didn't fall luckily but gave us the finger.
I try to fish 3 times a month, awesome fishing here.
I hike 2-3 times a week, I live at the base of 2 9000 ft mountains and have 2 dogs, they kinda go hand in hand.

Thanks for the ideas, this make me realize that I do more than I think I do. Maybe my hobby needs to be chilling out.

You can pick up an older jet ski that's in decent shape for about $500 (out here). Don't forget they can be 20+ years old. If you enjoy wrenching and have the manual you can fix, replace parts or mod it out yourself. There are online forums where you can go for help and search for parts like pwctoday.com and x-h2o.com if you need it. Out here in Cali, you can take them out year round for the most part but when you are in between seasons you can enjoy getting them ready. They're a lot of fun for the money.

Oh yea, if you decide to pick this up...make sure any lakes in your area are cool with two-strokes. These things are dirty oil-burning machines.
