That's right. I didn't have mine installed for long before I took out the 2nd Toyo leaf and put a 3/4 ton leaf in.

And is this factory clamp in the way?

 

It's not fun but you gotta slide/beat with hammer until they line up. Drop a screwdriver through as you go so you don't mess up the threads on the bolt.
It will clear when you get it lined up.

 

Ok thanks man. I got it thru but I just don't see how the factory leaf pack clamp isn't in the way. The rivet is directly on the friction pad.

Yes. I faced the long side towards the rear per the instructions from Wheeler's

 

I missed that yours was a 3 leaf. I have the single and no problems.

 

2nd Gen leafs should have the hole centered. 1st gens use offset holes.

 

So did they send the wrong part? I have tsb springs. Is that the problem?? My receipt says 2010 Tacoma so I dunno what the hell to do now

I got it but the tsb spring leaf pack clamp is in the way. Or at least it looks like it is.

Surely somebody has the 3 leaf pack installed with tsb springs

 

@OZ-T what is this. Doesn't look like its meant for sockets.
