got any finished pics of that 8?

i had one in my truck and for SQ and accurate punchy-ness is was great, but in the end i went with a JL 12 because i wanted more booom... i only ran 300w rms though and i think they need more than that.

Yea its not a pretty box lol i got it when i had my s10 standard cab. Needed the legroom. I have been throwing 800 watts rms at it (2006 cea compliant) for about 2 years. It gets hot occasionally and i back it off lol.

Just finished laying the mat and foam! I think the toughest panels to put back on will be the rear seat belt panels. Not looking forward to that.

Nothing too major, been acquiring piece by piece for a year now. It will be Hybrid Audio in the doors and a JL 12 pushed by a 900/5

What deadener are you using? You're doing basically the exact thing I want to do to mine.

Very nice. Im gunna deal with my eight for now since its output is decent. But i want to eventually get 2 soundqubed hds3's and put them on 2400 watts. In a box that can slide in between the lifted part of the bottom seat and the back rest and be removed if i need my backseat. And as for the amps i want to remove all that plastic against backwall of cabin and cut a peice of mdf to size and carpet it and use the pre existing holes to have an amp rack. Idk what i wanna do about doors yet. But i want to upgrade from my shitty jvc to the pioneer 80 prs.
    Also get some sound deadener.

Wheee did you run the wire through? I hsed a 3/8 drill bit and put a hole in the little rubber grommet above the drive shaft at the back of the double cab. My 0 guage is far bigger than the hole so its water tight lol

Made a flag pole that attaches to the bed rail for easy movement and removal. 1/2x3 Carriage bolts in the rail. 2x12 on those. Steel black pipe inside PVC for rigidity clamped to the wood. Hose clamps holding the quick links and clevis shackles.
