I love way we enter this place the first few gather around the sides and pose all sexy. Then Michael With the toyota flag goes straight for a badass sexy donut in the center as the rest of us enter and start climbing shit! Love it

    Damn, Mike. That's disgusting. :p

It's not going to be fun cleaning that mess up either. o_O

Y'all could have call me if need be. I'm a certified Rattletrap66 recovery specialist. Even though I didn't want to get the OGT dirty (I'd like to go at least one summer without my rear brakes full of mud), I'd have come out there to render assistance if needed.

    I like'em like that.

Mine was a cheap strap. I'm looking at buying a 20 or 30' strap and some recovery points. Have a half sheet of 1/4 plate so I'll start to make a front winch mount

At least it wasn't too far from your house if you had to go get your strap. But, again, if you guys needed some assistance, I would have been more than willing to help if needed.

ARB is pricy. If you wanna pay for the name and the spiffy orange color, that's cool, but if you just want a good recovery strap for a decent price, try the link I posted. Bubba Rope is a great recovery rope. I like them and they work well. They just aren't as compact for storage as a strap...and they are more expensive. :D

    http://www.bubbarope.com/4x4-products

Doesn't say that I could see...

However, they want $205 for a 7/8"x30' rope with 28,600 lb breaking strength, where as you can get a 4"x30' strap with 40,000 lb breaking strength for $60 from US Cargo Control. Unless you got cash to burn, it's kind of a no-brainer for me. But then I'm a cheap bastitch. :D

edit: BTW, IIRC, I think my back-up strap is the 4"x30' one.

Haha, just thought of some suggestions for the next Tamlando meet...

    1) we should park grouped by generation followed by color. I think that'd make for an awesome display.

    2) we should take a picture of each truck with its owner standing next to it, then post the pics labeled with the person's member ID and name to help those of us who are memory-challenged keep track of who we met (I'm terrible with names when I meet a bunch of people at once).

@Timbo89 Yeah, it would definitely take advanced planning and possibly more than one photographer. At the very least, if we could get everyone together at the same time to make an announcement like "Go stand by your trucks and wait for your picture to be taken", lol.
