    Meh, I woke up at 530, but didn't know it had rained last night. That made for a very humid detox run this morning. Had to sweat out a bunch of yuengling haha

    Set my neighbors car alarm off when I drove by it today in the Taco. First time it's done that, must be getting deeper as the muffler breaks in.

    Went to a different wal mart today and they had gray plasti dip. I sprayed some on the shelf and it was pretty dark so I didn't get it. Walked out in the parking lot and saw a silver streak 4Runner that had a dark gray grill and looked pretty strange. I took it as a sign that I made the right choice.

    Going for round 2 of dipping the valence and scoop today. Watched a video yesterday to help withy technique. Hopefully this will go smoother...

    The insert. I'll post a pic when I'm done. It's actually done now, but I boogered it up before it dried. The first time I did it I used tape and got my thumbs all in it when I was taking it off so I peeled it all off. This time I used playing cards. They worked great, except I wasn't paying attention to the blanket that was covering the rest of the hood and it slid down onto the wet dip. Made me so mad!!! But, the valence is done and looks awesome. I'm going to wait about 30 minutes and peel the scoop and do it again. I've got enough cards left for one more attempt.

    Here is a close up of the before that shows the original paint peeling off. Derp is still wet but I'm liking the way it looks. I'll get of shot of the whole front end after I get my grill on later today and get it out of the garage.

    Can't figure this rain out. Thought it was going to storm again but the sun is out. Guess I can't put off mowing the lawn any longer...
