I am looking into an aluminum radiator and going to an electric fan for Martha's 2.7L of fury. What type of radiator are people running and what type of electric fan? LCE has a $400 fan for the 3RZ but will that even survive in the desert? That is a lot of coin that I would rather not spend if its a science project.

Im also looking into an LCE Pro Clutch and Heavy Flywheel. Any feedback on that?

Hopefully, I can have all this work done by the time I get home from deployment. Then its on!

I got mine from DMZ and installed them without removing the diff or the motor. All I removed was the steering shaft.

This! Electric fans can't cool a motor in the desert.

Thanks for all the above posts on electric fans. Not going to waste my money on that. My stock radiator is pretty beat up and I was thinking of replacing it with a nice aluminum radiator. Any feedback?

I have a cbr in my truck. Had to build new mounts, it's 28x19x3" and uses the stock fan. Need to get a shroud built still but it has never gotten hot on me

Anyone in the Vegas or Reno or Salt Lake City area and have a recommendation for a shop to build me a 1st gen prerunner bumper? Or anyone have one near any of those places to sell?

I've been googling and it's kinda overwhelming.

Can anyone point me in a direction to learn about ford 9" axles? I was thinking of replacing my stock rear with one. Is there a good write up on pro's & con's and maybe a 9 vs tundra article. I have been searching here and pirate and ttora, but I'm not finding what I am looking for.

I'd be interested in learning more too. I was wondering if I could put my elocker, gears, and third member into a tundra's housing and axles or a t100? I've also heard a couple LT vets mentioning Ford econoline axles off creeper vans. A nine inch could be an option for me as well. I think with my rear sua I may need to get another axle but I really don't want to give up a perfectly good elocker. My cage/shocks are going to run outside the frame.

I heard the van thing too. I just don't want to end up spending $$$ on the wrong stuff.

So the more and more I look at my truck, I think I have something damaged. The driver side header is rubbing on the coil bucket and the driver side tire looks a bit cambered. It's a 2011 so the chassis is the one with revised motor mounts IIRC. I haven't torn it apart but what should I look for as far as possible weak areas to inspect? I have looked at it from what you can see with everything in place and do not see any creases or bends. While it is apart I am going to install the coil bucket gussets, new gusseted spindles, and convert the uppers to heim. I'm thinking on pulling the motor mounts too to inspect them.

Hey guys, I just picked up a +2 kit and I am shopping for axles now. I thought I read about issues with the fitment of the TC +2 axles, any experience with those ?
