Looking at the one for 299. I would want a way to get others out incase something like last time happened with the strap snapping 3 times. I'm going to build style like us off road does.

If it has steel cable can you switch it. Thought I heard a while back it will crush the drum or something. I'm a noon when I comes to a winch

I've known for awhile that my cam seals are leaking (V6) but just recently it started leaving a puddle in the driveway of nice clean oil. It seems to collect on the bottom of the bell housing before dripping on the steering rack and ultimately on the ground. Looking around I took a few pictures (below). I seem to have more oil leaking than what seems to be coming from the cam seals. Looking at my pan I see a kind of smooshed up gasket there, does anyone know what that is (last photo)? Is that my oil pan gasket not installed correctly??

I think I'm sticking with the cable. I've read (and have some firsthand experience) that mud will ruin a synthetic rope rather quickly. The mud will dry them out and make them brittle faster. I've seen a few atv's with them have this problem.

99% sure you can swap them with no issues.
