The cargo mat carpet was last minute decision. I really like how it has the 4Runner logo on it.

Went to the rubicon again and did truck stuff, one jeep with us shredding his ring gear in the front, and then his key fob messed up and he couldn't start his rig. Also watched 4 jeeps break in less than an hour in little sluice. Toyotas for the win.

Such a hassle, his key had a new battery and everything. Carbuerated truck started fine, given it takes a couple extra seconds of cranking and pedal pumps at elevation hahaha

Up early to go open a school gym for a company that isn't mine to do work this morning. Wtf I'm grabbing a coffee for my extended break to make up for this.

One of these days I'd like to find a good vantage point on the rubicon and watch the rigs come through the tough spots. I'd need to find the rubicon first. Somewhere around ice house road i've heard? i dunno.

    Check out the build
guys, I'm looking to see if anyone may be interested in trading camper shells. I have a Snugtop Supersport in fair condition and looking for something similar but with side windows that open up. I use my truck for work and I'm getting tired of opening the tailgate in the city and crawling all the way to to back to grab something.

From Reno.... You can get in by Homewood... And on hwy 50 you are correct about icehouse road...

The correct way to go threw is icehouse to Homewood...

There really isn't a good "vantage point," really just have to drive in and watch at all the difficult spots... Friends of the rubicon webpage has GPS coordinates I think as well..

    Quick google search: http://rubicontrail.org/rtf-directions.htm

    Ya mudda

Regarding car seat inspection. I called today the 2 listed locations in our town and both are booked until mid August. I called the sheriff's office and they do an inspection program as well but I think that's all options. Hoping I can sneak in somewhere.

I guess I waited too long. Food for thought if you have also.

I never had mine checked out before and bought the car seat the day before we brought my daughter home. They are pretty simple, especially with the latch system.

They only verify there is a car seat installed. They don't accept liability of verifying it's installed correctly or not.

You don't need to get it inspected, but something like 70% of car seats aren't installed properly or some fucking thing.

I would like to think I'm not an idiot and can get it handled correctly, but if I can get it looked at it would help me out. I have been forgetting the most basic stuff lately. :anonymous:

Whew. OK, well thank god I can read simple instructions, and I can verify that I have installed it.

But tough luck for you, eh?

And new truck has Latch System FTMFW.
