It's been done plenty Kase. Not the best option, but if the weights would have worked out I would have considered it.

If you are wanting a manual for the efficiency, can't argue with you there, but if it's for fun to drive, the DSG in sport mode with the paddle shifters is just way too much fun. I won't even drive it if she's there,,, to many "looks".

I'll look up the numbers though.

It does drive me nuts. I hate it. I'm bored as heck.
But I love the work when there is work. Its definitely a career I love. The downtime like I'm in now is just part of being new to it and not having enough connections yet.
So for now, Ima try to get side jobs and live off that since no one is hiring locally. The economy is pretty shitty right now so all the welding shops(oil/gas industry) have a hiring freeze.

It has been done yes but I'd definitely recommend a 3/4 ton.

Finding one with the specs I want, and is reasonably priced, is proving difficult.

Looks like I would be trying to get $9500 for it. Assuming that trade-in price comes close to what they say... which is always questionable.

Trade-in, nope. Then I'd have to pay 6.25% on that money that turned from trade to cash...

Besides, you can probably keep quiet since this will not be traded for beer and kolaches. :D:D:D

That job got laid off due to unforseen circumstances. Which brought me back to the good ole power plants that I've grown to love lol
