Long post coming, bare with me and chime in. So I started out buying my truck and swearing I'd never mod it. Then I found TW. You know what happened from there. Now I'm obsessed with making it as practical as possible for my uses. After the lift, tires, and a few other minor things I'm trying to decide what needs to be done in what order. The very next mod is UCAs because fuck wandering and bump steer. The truck is my DD. Most of my off-road driving is getting myself to and from duck holes camp spots and the river, but I find myself trying to find the limits of its capabilities more and more these days. I want to ease into wheeling soon. So my question for all of you with your off-road monsters is what should be next for me? Obviously a locker would be ideal, but for now that would exceed the limits of my off-road knowledge/driving abilities and my bank account. I did just do the yellow wire mod giving me traction control in 4LO. Armor- I have none. I have had several close encounters between my doors and trees so I'm thinking sliders would be near the top of the list. Skids? I generally just avoid rocks but then again, I want to try some more challenging stuff so what do you say for skids? Winch? I'm always with someone else and have access to other trucks/tractors, but it's nice to be able to do shit yourself. Anything super important I'm missing? What do I need in what order to step it up a notch?

Sliders and skids for sure (i don't have, but will start working on getting some). I would say at least have a recovery strap or snatch strap and 2 to 4 shackles.

    Ehhh fuck it :

Sliders would be my first investment armor wise followed by skids. But make sure your lift can handle weight your going for. Winch Isn't a big priority as long as you have someone to hook up to. Followed by bumpers.

what do you think? Does cutting fenders and flares on 33s make the tires look small? Anyone have their cut on 33s to show pics? Should I wait til I want to move to 35s to cut or do it now. Any recommendations? I've been looking at cut fenders and flares all day but I havnt really paid attention to the tires.

Guess it doesn't look bad. I really like the look of trimmed fenders and flares. It's sharp!

Oh yeah!!!!! You find out someone to help you? When I built my bumper I took it on and off probably 10 times so I found a way to do it by myself. I put it on a fold out table, jacked the truck up by the diff, took the wheels off and lowered the truck until it sat down on the bumper.
