I'm thinking about going to Death Valley this upcomming weekend. Anyone interested in joining or has any pointers on what to see and do? I have never been there.

Wait until the fall and go to the sierra instead, unless you enjoy 110° weather

If you must go to DV, go to the higher elevations (which are still going to be really hot), like telescope peak area.

Does anyone have a scan tool I can use briefly to see what codes the truck is throwing?

You sure it's not just time for an oil change? Maybe your trailer hitch is too heavy and it's throwing codes :notsure:

Haha I actually just changed my oil Sunday afternoon. I'm not too sure what's up with it Chris...got my fingers crossed it's not too bad. Seems to be one thing after another with this truck. As soon as I get something fixed, another issue reveals itself. lol

You know you want to borrow the trailer hitch :D

Motomon, I just hooked up a scantool to the truck so I won't be needing yours. Thank you very much for offering though!

Right on. You can pull that sensor and give it a good cleaning. Clear the code and go from there. Or buy a new sensor, reset computer and go there.

Anyone on here into spearfishing? I've got a 16' Radon that we're taking out tomorrow morning, for some spearfishing at Carp reef and possibly the backside of Cruz, let me know if you're interested! I've got room for 2...

Dang, I am paddle boarding and going to the French festival tomorrow to stuff my face of treats and wine.
Also, this. My gear hasn't been used in a few years and I don't even have my fishing license for this calendar year. Totally slackin', but if I was free I'd maybe have taken you up on the boat ride (paying my share of fuel) haha

I saw this..... Hopefully tomorrow morning treats us well. A few weeks ago me and 2 buddies went out on Saturday morning, camped out Saturday night on the boat, fished until about 3pm on Sunday, and turned to head home.... About 3 miles off Cruz it churned up and all of a sudden we were in 14 foot seas at about 8 seconds. After the old "Guys, I'm in over my head... Last chance to turn back?" we decideed to go for it. Gnarliest ride of my life. The boat handled it much better than I thought it would, but needless to say if the weather turns again while we're out there, I know what I can make it through! Also know when to camp out another night.....
