    My husband & I love Prime.... and we use it ALL the time. However....when we heard about this 'Prime Day' - we wondered what it was all about.

    Last week - July 8th - my husband ordered a Garage Door Opener for $169.00. Yesterday, he ordered 2 more of the EXACT same Garage door openers for $177.80. Today? They're still $177.80. Both were directly from the Manufacturer and PRIME.

    My husband also noticed a few other things that the prices went UP in the last week or two. So...I don't know what kind of deals you're actually getting - depends on the products.

    Don't just assume you're getting a great deal on Amazon. SHOP around!!

    I'm getting that 40 in TV, a USB lightning cable for the truck, some bamboo toothbrushes(smile b*tchez), some dog stuff, and I'll keep looking. Probably only time I'll use prime.

    For those that don't know or haven't noticed...Amazon will from time to time change pricing. Similar to what airlines and travel sites do. They track your history and if you don't buy it the first time, they might up the price slightly when you are ready to buy. They basically know that you have interest in an item, and will squeeze a few more pennies out of you for it. FYI

    That's why people like myself are just using the 30 day free trail, canceling, and getting one day of the year deals. It said they'll add the deals throughout the day.
