Good thing I read that, my tubes are 1.75", I'll have to grab some longer bolts. How long should I go?

Thanks! It still needs to be painted, I'm kind of dreading taking it all apart.

Took a quick detour to camp in Steamboat Springs on my way to Wyoming for work. Pretty cool spots up Buffalo Pass

Unpackaged my new mt Shasta over the weekend. Went from a mt hood to a Shasta that was replaced due to dmg last year. Hope I don't have to set up another one of these again. Not bad the 3rd time.

any one flip the mounting rails to go the other way and cut off the excess? Thinking of doing it

Looking good, DoorDing. I had the same problem too. Mine is mounted on Thule Xsporter 500 and I had to go to HD to pick up 3" bolts and drilled 4 pieces of metal bar. Also, I had an issue of setting up the front window due to low profile mount. The solution was to move the tent back a bit and raise up 2 inches to accommodate the metal rod.

Does anyone have Baja Rack on their roof? I'm looking into these 2 model. The first one is BR-TYTCM-PRS-LP-0, this will mount directly onto factory bar, while the second BR-TYTCM-SFA-0, mount directly onto the roof. The only issue is that I have a Thule square bar on my roof and I don't intent to remove. I was wondering if these 2 model will be able to mount on top of my existing square bar? If anyone have these on their roof, please let me know if it will work.

Why not just mount the tent to those square Thule bars?

I have the tent mounted on my truck bed, but I wanted to be able to carry some stuff on the roof.

I was looking at the Baja racks and ultimately decided on the Prinsu roof rack. Very sleek, clean rack with endless possibilities; couldn't be happier with my decision.

Just sell the Thule bars and replace them with the Prinsu cabrac. Makes the setup more simple and light. The Cabrac will bolt right into the factory mounting points on your double cab.

x2. I had the rtt mounted to thule bars over the cab, so i could save the frontrunner rack on the canopy for gear, and the landing feet (or whatever u call em) dented the edge of the roofline after a weekend excursion. rtt now on FR rack over canopy and replaced thule with another FR rack over the cab. much happier now.

wish the prinsu racks were avail when i was shopping. very nice. but FR is pretty damn good too and infinitely adjustable/customizable.

My Rig is huge! So i did the huge Tepui gran sabana in siberian camo! I went with an allprooffroad.com rack-pac got it on ebay and had it welded by a professional I left it full height so i can get 2 mountain bikes under the rack. I did buy a piece of aluminum angle bar stock and used it at the front of the tent rails as they were just about an 1" short of being mounted on all 4 corners. That way it is mounted on 6 points under the rails! I bought some aluminum flat stock and made 2 more mount plates to attach the front angle bar onto.
The rack in weld your own form.
