    If you use the steel cable a few times then switch to synthetic the drum can mess up the synthetic.

    I thought about keeping the steel to put some weight on the front end but I hadnt heard about this. I dont do mud but here it's not much of a choice.

    I did the free prime trial so maybe this winch will be a bit cheaper. I doubt it since it's the 15th already and the price hasn't changed

    If you stay out of the mud for the most part and clean the line every once in a while, the synthetic is worth the safety factor IMO

    Swapping to synthetic line depends on the manufacturer. I wanted to, but upon researching it states very clearly not to with my super winch. Upon further research, I found out that with mine at least, if you switch, the synthetic rope can in fact crush the drum under load.

    Autozone owns the website autoanything.com so I get a 20% off code when I check out. It didn't work so I called and they overrode the price to 239.99. Same place I bought my rims from. 954 for all 4 they told me oli got cost but I dk about that
