    Looks like a great place for info on the Tacoma. I currently have a 14 dbl cab SR5 pre runner. Just bought a new 15 long bed TRD sport 4x4. Should have got that in the first place.

    I'd still consider reinforcing the tailgate, it's incredibly weak. Once they bend, they're bent. :cheers:

    I really recommend it for anybody using the bed at all, few hundred pounds on the tailgate is all it takes. We've had members here bend their tailgate just by having them and a buddy sitting on it while camping or tailgating.

    Not me brother. I thank my lucky stars I never fired a shot in anger. They blew up the barracks in Beirut when I was in Okinawa and they loaded us on an amphibious ship. (USS BELLEUWOOD) and sent us steaming to the gulf, turned us around after a few days. Talk about a holy shit moment. We did a lot of flying and it was dangerous enough. I was a power plants mech. Worked on turbines. Tagged along as much as they would let us.
