Also btw I think you asked earlier if you could do a relocation with the tire still in place, I think you would have to do something similar to the stock mounts like was shown in the previous post/relocation.

The shocks would have to be mounted almost at a 90 degree angle with the axle if you wanted to put a cross member in there and have it clear the spare.

2.5's will clear the spare in the stock location behind the axle. I did not buy a kit to fit my SAW 12's

I'm sure the answer is somewhere on here, but I think it'll be ok because it should be an easy answer. with a 3" lift, will there be any problems fitting 33" tires?

    Thanks guys!

will likely have to trim some of the plastic wheel well liner in the front and hammer down the pinch weld on the firewall for tire rubbing. depending on your wheel backspacing, your wheel alignment, your tire width, will all determine any clearnace issues

Oldest question in TW universe. Fit highly depends on width not height and proper back spacing. That being said I doubt you can on stock wheels without spacers. You will rub on a 2.5" suspension lift on stock wheels for even a 285.

I had 33x12.5 on stock wheels with a 2.5" lift. Only place they rubbed was the frame

Thanks for the input guys! It's a true suspension lift. And I would likely be getting spacers before new tires anyway. I'm looking at 1.5" Spidertrax. I'm hoping to avoid too much other modification at this point because I'm a total modding noob and don't have experience, time, or tools to do a lot of it. I'm thinking I'll stick with stock width (265) or maybe a little narrower (255). Definitely not any wider. And I'm keeping stock wheels at this point too (16x7).

But you still rubbed, that was my point.

if you spend another $150+ instead of getting spacers just get a 16x8 wheel with a -6 or -12 offset to kick them outward.

im on a 16x8 american racing wheel with 00mm offset 4.5 backspacing and i only rub at full lock cause of the tire. 265/75/16 Duratrac.

Those will rub the frame for sure at full lock.

I'll definitely look into wheels in the future, but budget is really tight right now. But by the time I get new tires, who knows?

At full lock with the suspension compressed a little. Nothing to worry about
