I'm confident that this has already been discussed so I apologize.. Still in the market for some mud terrains and wondering if anyone had any strong opinions for either size of tire. Probably primarily street driving with (some) southern california desert riding.

    Thanks guys

This topic has been discussed before. Here are my thoughts:

I am currently running Cooper ST MAXX 255/85/16. The ST MAXX is probably the best AT tire on the market and fills a nice niche between AT and MT. I went with this size because it required no trimming with a 2" lift except for front mudflap removal, and is pretty wide for its size (just a hair under my 265/65/16 rugged trail stockers). Great tires, check em out!
