I gotta say I like the 95-97. I like the boxiness and the whole thing just says "truck".

New Pioneer stereo, and all 4 speakers with Infinity components. Sirius satellite radio. Deckplate mod done. Door buzzer silenced forever thank God, tinted windows, vent visors, hood protector(bug guard), ceramic pads and new rotors, dechromed EVERYTHING. 2" Lift front 3" rear. Skyjacker AAL's and replacement leafs(and front spacers) from Fatbobsgarage.com. Skyjacker 7000 Hydro rear shocks, those Bilstein 5100 fronts are coming soon!
Well, originally I put the 98-00 face as my favorite, of course I was Biased since I own a 2000. I also stated I didn't care for the 01-04, but I have since changed my views on them. I told the wife if I were to trade or sell my 2000, I am getting a 01-04 double cab 4x4, hopefully TRD too. I grew to liking them a lot. I see tons of them around here. I still do not like the 05+ all that much. I did go to a Toyota dealer and saw an 09 hunter green 4x4 TRD DC, and it was frickin beautiful though. But I still like the 98-04 Gen1 the best.

Yes I own an 01-04 but I must say they are the best looking. Then 05 and up. I have always loved the 01-04's. I dont know why but I always wanted one then I finally got one. I think what bothers me on the newer models is the fenders. I do not like that at all. I like the all round fenders like 01-04. shit I even like the nissan frontiers for that reason !!!
