Almost done making my lowly XLT cross dress like an FX4, got new wheels and tires the other day. They're take off's from a King Ranch and I'll get them to match the rest of the FX4 stuff I put on already.

Well, his daughter went to college this past fall, so he's probably out murdering all of the boys she attracted over the past school year.

Well we will see how much money I put into it. 1st order of business is to see how well it runs. If it doesn't run than it's either being sold or used for parts

I agree, I just didn't want to shell out the coin for that upgrade! I have the black tails, dark gray running boards and now the wheels. I probably won't do all the other color matched stuff but I like the look of the truck a lot more now. I'd love to get ahold of the OEM projector headlights but they're too rich for my blood.

How much do you have into changing the T case gears? Did you get your spool put in yet?

It will be worth it . I haven't even wheeled mine yet other then driving up some rocks out back of my house but the 4.7 is awesome ! Let the clutch out and it walks right up.

    You should try double cases.

Try a standard socket of a smaller size . Beat it on with a hammer .

Tires are ordered and should be here tomorrow. I just did the other wheel bearing tonight because all the other stuff should be pretty quick to do. I might just do the spark plugs at lunch tomorrow. The skids and console to be done tomorrow night. :)

It's not that bad, it's just time consuming. I did most things at night. Started with the back wall. Took the rear seats out and the parcel shelf and did the back wall. The worst part is it's still my daily driver so when I was done with a section I would have to put it all back together. Then when I did UNDER the rear seat I would have to take the rear seats out again and put them back when I was finished with that. Then the main floor and put the seats back in. Then the carpet and in order to get it in just right ALL the seats needed to be pulled along with the side panels. It would have been a lot quicker and easier if I just had a weekend in a garage that I could disassemble everything, did it and put it all back in 2 days. Unfortunately with my life and schedule that was not an option for me. :)
