Those are not the matte dark bronze finish. Here's a photo of matte dark bronze for comparison.

Troy is correct. The TRD caps will not work. The F5 was designed to be capless so a slip-through type cap will not work and neither will a snap-on type cap.

Cool. Any details on the 17" versions? Width? Backspacing options? Colors? Trying to hold out on buying wheels until they are released.

Are there any recommendations on a specific metal valve stems to use with these?

I think if you have a friend that works in a machine shop you could possibly be in luck. But that's a long shot.

Trust me guys, the F5 looks completely different with a center cap of any kind in place. Running this wheel capless is what gives it the look and appeal. Shoot a few coats of semi-gloss black paint on your hubs and you'll be all set.

Got my wheels and tires mounted. So stoked on the setup.

I got the 4.5" backspacing and I think it looks perfect on my truck. Tires are Cooper ST Maxx in 255/85r16.

Ikarus that looks great. Any rubbing or figment issues with the 255s?

Fits awesome - the only thing I had to do was take off the little aerodynamic flaps in front of each wheel. They're just held on with a couple bolts. Didn't have to cut anything - now I never rub, even at full lock.

I want to give a huge thanks to Vin, after all the back and forth messages and changing my mind on the rim color many times Vin was very patient with me. Great customer service and I highly recommend these rims. Like most people say, you have to see these rims in person to see how truly nice they look. Ill definitly get some better pictures later on and post them up!

You can fit the 231mm Tundra calipers without any issues with our wheels. I highly recommend this upgrade on a 1st gen Tacoma.

3.5 BS is the magic number for 1st gen's and wide tires right? Sub for getting some Matte Gunmetal F5's like my buddy @V5ioV

Yes, that's what I would go with personally. If you prefer to have the tire/wheel flush with the fenders flares on a 1st gen then stick with 4.5" bs.
