I sold optics for a very short time. It was a non stop scam by the consumers. Only thing I've ever sold that I dealt with massive credit card fraud and all kinds of such scams. Weirdest thing.

No shit? I wonder if it's the same for optics retailers in general?

I have a friend who ordered two RMR's and both were knock-offs. It seems to mostly center around the more popular military contract items favored by airsofters.
Tons of fake Surefire crap out there as well.

@SFSMedic i finally got to run some of that American eagle 6.8 spc ammo, I think it's underpowered still, i only had time to run 20 rounds through but I had 2 failures because the bolt short stroked, and another failure that is possibly a mag issue.
I'll update you as I get to shoot more this summer.

I just got 100 rounds of federal xm68gd today so I'll let you know how that functions.

We know the American eagle is underpowered and the federal fusion is using to fast a powder both will cause short stroking with our porting. The 90gr GD will work fine.

Also better to just email me at brett@ironworkstactical.com

Great question. I went back and forth about it, but the simple fact of the matter is cerakote is constrained by the creativity of the applicator while water transfer offers a genuine pattern transfer onto the item. I'll see if I can post a pic of cerakote mandrake or multicam brb

You can see some of the pattern but it is nowhere near as complete as water transfer. Cerakote is however, a much more sturdy coating.

Anyone have a clue how to set up a GhostGunner Machine? Thought it was supposed to be plug and play, it has a bunch of computer nerd info in it. I just want to plug it in and start my next 4 projects

Got myself an optic for my next build a the gunshow on Saturday.

Leupold VX-III 1.5-5 illuminated with german reticle. Best of all I traded an erma I had $170 in and ran like a mad man. Now I'm looking for more parts for the build.

And the build with be an SBR in .300 blackout with a suppressor

I think I've changed my plans a bit, I'm gonna SBR my contender and put a .300 blackout barrel on it and then put this scope on it

^ Cool. Specs look great - how much more than a Colt 6933?

Price seems comparable. $1100 ish from what I understand. I was considering the Colt, however I don't want the 10.3" barrel really. From what I've read 11.5"-12.5" is a better all around setup with a carbine gas barrel.

Just got off the phone with them. $999 is the price for that rifle but they are now shipping 11.5" barrels instead of 12.5" which is fine with me. I also found a dealer an hour away in Richmond who will be getting some in stock soon.

    Yeah, I'd love a 12.5", but...

    $999 is killer!
