They are the 199MM versions S13WE they are the smaller of the 2 tundra brake options and these will clear 99% of 16 inch rims while the larger ones will clear maybe 25% of the 16's out there.

5100s are dog shit. Poor valving, leaky seals, bendy shafts. Not a fan of the 620lb Eibachs either as they are way too stiff for most applications. I never will understand why this junk is recommended on this site for anyone that does more than drive to work.

As Ben pointed out, OME is about the only decent option for less than coilovers. IMO, I would look for used coilovers and rebuild them, or look into Sway-A-Ways.

O ya forgot about the leaky seals. Mine started leading after like 12k miles. Bilstein says that it's "normal"

I hated my 5100's so much that I bought icons 6 months or so later, I am on fox now and with a re valve they are worlds apart.

For a stock truck with a slow driver that never leaves pavement 5100 are probably ok.

I found mine to be way to squishy and would nose dive under hard braking.

My 5100's are a bit stiff, hoping a plate bumper solves that issue. If not oh well, getting kings later next year anyways, would like to fix up the rear suspension first

I'm running used 5100's on 620lb springs :anonymous:

That being said they are a ton better than my stock clapped out coilovers that have 203k on them. I also wheeled the piss out of the truck on that setup too. I plan on wheeling the piss out of these temporary solution setups till I can afford an nice front extended travel coilover.

 Gonna add that spacer to the drivers side when I swap in one of the cv's you gave me. Both my cv's blew grease a week into having the lift :p

You coming to RC next week? or is the SAS still in progress?

Yep the old inner boots do not like change after awhile. My other set I sold had the ORS boots (very nice, bit pricey but lasted).

Thought I was going to make it, had two setbacks with the Leaf springs and the hydro assist. So I'll be catching the next one.

Plenty of Big Dogs and Rausch trips left though.

You can get Kings up front for $1000, or you can get OME on every corner for $1400.

I had Icons up front for a little bit. The threads rusted pretty quickly, plus I sent them to Icon for a rebuild and they started to leak within months.

I don't have the need for adjustability, because I'm not out there every day cranking on the coilover to adjust the height. If all you want is a better ride, go with OMEs and 881 springs. Will give you a slight lift, but much better of a ride than factory. When you get the winch and stuff on, swap the springs to 883s. They are firmer and will handle the weight better.

I have to agree with this, the threads on my boss c/o's rusted out within a year or so. Partially my fault though.
The adjustable part should not be adjusted very often, you should find the height/setting you like because every time you mess with the coilovers your messing with your alignment, also another thing to note is that if you install adjustable coilovers/UCAs it might make it difficult to find a place that will align your truck.
Had I known everything I know now Im positive I would have gone OME vs adjustable coil over.

    Page 4000!!!! Lol...

Might be reconsidering future coils. Was going to get Kings, but looking at OME's and I could swap all of it and still be cheaper than king. I could get all 4 shocks, 882's, trim packer, 10mm spacer and assembled from Wheelers for roughly 880. While Kings are $1,000. Damn....

I can understand wanting a set it and forget it type of lift (especially since this week I've tweeked my co's 4 times to get it right), but performance wise coilovers will blow the OME and 5100's out of the water. You may think it can't be that big of difference, but trust me it is. I've owned 5100's/Tundra coils, 5100's/Eibach, SAW 2.0's, Icon 2.5's and now Fox 2.5's. The difference between the 5100/Eibach to the Fox was immediately noticeable. They are so much more controlled over bumpy roads/trails. Plus the on road ride has improved immensely. I found the eibach's to be a bit stiff and bumpy without any extra weight. I've never ran OME, so I can't say anything about that, but if you can afford coilovers, go for it. I luckily found my Fox's brand new for $550.

Depends how you plan to offroad, Kings, icon, fox, ADS are designed to be a big mid travel leap usually accompanied with aftermarket upper control arms as well.

The OME is more of a lift with a slight improvement over stock.
True coil overs can be re valved and re built while a bolt on gas strut has limitations.
And no one serious should EVER run a spacer on anything!!!!

I don't plan on going super fast, more of hitting trails type of thing
This is what I meant by spacer
