    Colorado weighs more than equinox. The lightest Colorado and heaviest Equinox are roughly the same weight. Also, a lighter car should get more torque to the wheels, not the opposite.

    Virtually identical torque with more HP, towing and better MPG would be an overall win. Even if it revs a bit more.

    The 285 H.P. & 265 F.P.T. was top of the mark, You could also take it as it might be a lil less when they are ready to sell to the public . I think they are still playing with it to get the most HP & FPT out of the 3.5 without the thing coming apart..

    My google kung-fu must be off. All I can find is reference to the Russian Prado...mentions it will be in the 300 horse range, with 17% increase in fuel efficiency

    Yeah,

    Besides, there isn't anything that says for sure the engine in the Prado is the same engine as the new Tacoma from Toyota. Ergo, no good source that says what's going in the new truck.

    Someone has shown diagrams calling the new Tacoma engine the 2GR-FKS, but I haven't seen any numbers on google confirmed for that engine.
