I hate to admit this but have to ask. Last trip out I got rained on and had to put my CVT down wet. It rained for the next few days so I pulled the tent down off the rack and dried it out with fans in my garage. All is well with the rtt but my efforts to properly dry out the annex where not so successful, it has some discoloration and smells a bit moldy.

My question is how do I clean it? Is there a product or method that works best? I have read about the 303 protectant but it's not exactly a cleaner, I want to set the whole thing up, clean it throughly and let it sit until completely dry but need to schedule the time to be without the truck. Any suggestions?

Bobby told me to get warm soapy water and add a bit of bleach to it. Then just scrub down the discoloration with it. It helped for me didn't get everything but it helped. However mine was about as bad as it could get. I sorta forgot to dry it out.

Take the rain fly off and wipe it down. Then let it sit in the sun for a good day and that should do a decent job at getting rid of everything. Oops Sorry just saw you said annex, there's no rain fly so ignore that part

Had my friend weld up a bed rack a couple of years back, and purposefully built low to keep the center of gravity low.

Looks like it. I have the 55" on mine rack and it doesn't stick forward past the defelctor. His looks to stick out about a foot so he probably has the 79" version if it is from CVT, or the 6' from tepui.

Do people run a 6 foot wide tent on a short bed? The Mt. Hood looks amazing, but I'm worried about the extra foot hanging off the rear.

Do the majority of you guys run a small bed mat under your mattress or anything like that for a bit extra cushion for side sleepers? Any recommendations?

I went to Lowes and picked up two 4'x8'x1/2" sheets of the blue foam insulation. Made a big difference, because the center where the to halves meet is right on my hip.
