Kenda Klever M/T KR29

Does anyone have any experience with these tires? Reviews online seem great, just wondering on tread life. I'm looking at the 35x12.5x17 size. Everywhere I have looked states the weight at 65.8 pounds for the 35" tire. If this is true, that would make these one of the lightest 35's out there. And for under 1k for all four new tires, they can't be beat if they are decent. They look awesome, too.

Would appreciate any accurate weight measurements or testimonies.

Got them on my wife's 4Runner. Took tons of weight to balance and they still wobble. They're kinda loud on the highway. They don't seem to be wearing at all though and traction off-road is ridiculous. That 4Runner is a billy goat. She loves them.

I'm running the 285/75/16 (33's) and they weight in at 65#. Had them on for 10k miles and they have little wear. Good offroad so far but as with any M/T tire loud on pavement but not intolerable. Not to much trouble to road force balance them also.

Thanks man! Well if your 33's weigh in at 65 then the 35's are out of the question. Trying to keep weight down under 68-70 pounds. Ridiculous that they don't have the actual weights posted anywhere even on kendas site

 

Well I've got 7k miles on these loud shitty piece of shit tires and the tire shop is telling me one of them is asking for 22oz to balance. They wobble at 45+ and are louder than any tire I've ever heard. Learned my lesson.

 

Replaced them with a set of Toyo AT2 and holy hell what a difference. Those kenda MT's are HORRIBLE on road. I can't stress that enough lol.

love them. 20k on them so far. i have the smaller size but im looking into the 35s next myself. durable and grip forever! they are a bitch to balance but found a competent shop and they got me close. ill buy them again.

 

Seriously? I had over a pound of weights on one tire and it still had a wobble. Shop said it was asking for around 21oz of weight. Another needed 9oz. Worst tires I've ever bought.
