    just ordered:

-stainless hardware for my rear shocks (hex button bolts weren't long enough for shocks)
-3/8" drill bit so I can drill my leaf pack to fit a bigger leaf bolt and install my bump stop to the leaf bolt.
    -linerxtreeme kit
-water/oil seperator for compressor for linerxtreeme kit.
    -4x denso/OEM spark plugs

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Had them for a good while, maybe 40k miles. I just sold the new pair and eibach springs to a local guy. Rear's never leaked, not sure when the fronts started to leak but I couldn't tell the diff between the leaking one and non leaking one so weren't leaking much :notsure:

Got it, not the best but unless you break them in half, you will have a life time warranty...

Alright cool! I only plan on getting a plate bumper and that's it, no winch so it should be fine. I think the 620lb is too much for just a stock bumper and a skid plate haha

HEY, uh. Question. I might be acquiring my wife's 01 4runner....and it is currently stock.....suspension is squeaking, and she doesn't want it anymore....(lol).

Will it have the same CV boot issues as our trucks if lifted?

I think so. I think the IFS is all the same, whereas the rear is solid axle with coil, if I am not mistaken.

4runner's have CV boot issues as well, but that's to be expected. Just reboot when it happens, it's not hard, just messy.

IMO yes. When I put on my ARB bumper and Superwinch ep9.0 w/ synthetic I lost easily 3/4" of lift with my 881s and 10mm spacer. Granted the coils had prob 30k miles on them but they weren't showing any signs of sag prior to the bumper. I upgraded to 883s w/ the spacer and they support the weight really well and ride nice

thanks for the response, yeah i stacked my winch, cable, fairlead etc on top of the bumper uninstalled to see how much it would drop and i measured a 1/2" - 5/8" difference in height from the extra weight. my coils are older and settled in too. might have to buy new coils, pull my struts out and have a shop with a proper spring compressor change them out for me. maybe just get brand new assembled front struts if they even sell them like that

i don't care about the loss in lift, i'm actually happier with it a bit lower, but i don't want the suspension to be maxed out on load all of the time thats no good

i know the bushings for my front struts are pretty worn out too so that might be the best option and then could sell the old ones complete too. I'll have to call around locally for prices and search online, it's not a great time to be buying truck parts with the canadian dollar ...

Like Capt. Jack said you can buy them preassembled (if you also need new shocks) but you can easily just swap coils yourself using the floor jack method. It's a piece of cake and really quite safe.

It wouldn't be to bad to swap coils, all you need is a floor jack and pry bar.

during winters when its below -20 celsius outside i get a front end clunk, pretty much narrowed it down to either the shock iitself or front end bushings, depending on the price might be worth replacing the shocks as well

yeah i've seen the floor jack method and it doesn't look too bad. i'll have to inspect my truck/research prices some more and weigh the options

you're happy with those 883's though eh, iirc they are the same length as 881 just higher spring rate correct?

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
ADS comes with 650 Eibach coils unless otherwise specified.

    Worth it. Trust me.

You could NOT be more wrong man. fitting 33s is easy. Bit of cutting and hammering. Fitting 35s...sucks. You have to cut out the fire wall and weld in a new one.

    See here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...trail-rig-and-bs.159436/page-310#post-8006647

Having done both, i can tell you right now that 33s are a much better option for 98% of the people on this site.

The common misconception is that lifting allows bigger tires. It doesn't. The suspesion still cycles JUST like it did when it wasn't lifted. If you still want to us all your up travel you have to cut cut cut to make it stuff a tire when offroading.

Nah. Tube bumper will be light. You'll loose ride height a tad but just flex better.

Yes. Its the same setup as ours up front.

As for 5100s sucking. Yea they aren't great. But damn, i am impressed and totally happy with how mine worked. Wheeled the absolute SHIT out of them for 3 years. And the 620lb Eibachs where great on my truck. Rode fine and flexed fine.

[IMG]Frankenstein-9.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Now...would i take them over my current Kings on my Double Cab or ADS on Frank..

    Fuck..

    no.

But. They held me over for 3 years and performed just fine until last year when they leaked out all the oil haha But by then i knew what i wanted.

To me they have their place. But if you can, Get a real CO by SAW/King/Fox/ADS. Being able to valve them and rebuild them alone makes them worth the extra money over OME. OME are fine, and will last a bit longer then 5100s, but they still will need replaced completely at some point so....buy once, cry once..
