USAF. 2E271 Network Infrastructure Systems, which is merging with 2 others to become 3D172 Cyber Transport. Someone with more rank than I fell in love with the word cyber and wanted to make every communications field use it.

2003-present. Langley AFB VA. Honestly, I probably could get a job that pays more as a civilian since my job does well on the outside, but I doubt I'd ever find a job as rewarding or interesting. The places I've been and things I've done would be tough to match anywhere else.

I'm stationed in Tampa Florida at MacDill AFB. I work for Joint Communications Support Element. It is primarily Air Force and Army here and it is a little crazy working for the army and the Air Force. Definitely different. I was stationed at MCAS Miramar from 01-05 deployed to Iraq twice with MWCS-38.

Haha that disgusting mess is still out there by Victor loop and fuel barn. I'm in the Nickel so I don't get the nasty smell that the Dime does. It was stinky as all hell this summer. Flies weren't as bad as everyone said they would be though.

I'm pretty sure those are still there. I heard the base got real built up pretty recently, it's probably a decent bit larger now then when you were here. Take comfort in knowing that pig farm still kills all of us haha.

The Italian side is just out by AP highway now, not near the golf course. No base housing, just a lot of dorms. The Cal bar is still in town, been there a couple times. Always seems to have cops showing up though, so I stay away. I don't feel like dealing with Italian Police.
