I'm thinking about getting the toyota bull bar part#00016-35800. I have a 2014 v6 4x4 TRD off road double cab.

Question: I know these bars have ports to put lights on. Can these lights be purchased thru toyota? If so, what are the part numbers? Also, what is required to install them? do they run off of their own switch or do they connect up to the existing fog lights I already have? How hard are they to install and is there any wire splicing required?

Toyota doesn't make a bull bar.... Nor do they sell them. Are you referring to the t-force light bar?

This is what he's referring to:

It's probably something like a Westin bar being offered via dealers.

    For the OP:

They don't run off your existing fog lamps. You don't necessarily need to splice into your factory wiring. You could measure the opening once you receive the bar and determine what size fits (4" or 6" should work well as long as they're not too deep) and then you can use the provided harness and wire to the battery and use the battery as your trigger instead of your high beam circuit and/or an ignition hot trigger.

    Too many to list now.
You can always run the DOT approved lights from Rigid as well if you're looking for something that will be legal across the board to drive with. A big plus for those.

As mentioned above, I would wire them to a separate switch. You can easily tap into the + wires from the factory foglights if you do not want to run all that wire or. "Y" the + positive wires from the foglights to the battery, then to your switch.
