I'm keeping the external for it. Might not need the head set because I have that turtle beach one. But it's old and might not work with the xbox one.

And quit the denial, move on to acceptance about it already.

Nope.. I struggle with OCD and stress/depression. Runs in the family unfortunately.

It helps.. A lot actually. The truck tho.. Doesn't. It makes it worse.. Stresses me out. I wish I didn't care.. I really do. Colby knows my issues..

I just want a non molested, simple DD.. That won't have any changes, mods, etc.. To taunt me or add to that stress. Out of sight, out of mind essentially.

Im at a point in my life where modifying a vehicle isnt even on the priority list, sure i'm still tempted sometimes to do un necessary stuff. But creating a strict plan ahead of time and sticking to it helps. Less stress forsure! I absolutely understand where Josh is coming from on this.

I can appreciate where you're coming from man. It sucks to have a vehicle that you constantly have to worry about. I've said this before but when I bought this Tacoma I knew exactly what it's intended purpose was and what I would and would not be using it for. All of my mods were done with the mindset that I was going to keep in simple, do it once and do it right. 60k miles later, aside from routine maintenance, the truck has served its purpose and been trouble free.

If you REALLY want to go offroading, I'm of the opinion that at that point you should just buy a purpose built toy. I too am extremely OCD, so unnecessary body damage from wheeling is not something I really care to have happen on a 35k dollar truck.

My old 85 toyota was totally built on the cheap(with the exception of the marlin crawler box and ARB locker in the front)and that thing would drive to the Rubicon, wheel all weekend and drive home. Didn't give two shits what happened to that truck because I bought it to beat on it..

Amen Jerry. That's where I'm at. Had my fun, learned my needs, time for change.

Dave, I've had my 3 tacomas, a lifted and modded Wrangler, and a 69 Stang.. I'm over the mod scene. Just want simplicity.. Anything else drives my stress, anxiety, OCD tendencies through the roof. I've had fun.. And once I get to a better place in life.. I'll have a Toyota toy. That has always been my dream. Trail toy for sure. Just hasn't been in the cards. Once I nail down a career, get settled, etc.. Yeah.. Then ill be back modding.. But something dedicated for that. Not my DD.

I love my truck.. It is literally my dream truck.. From the Stormtrooper theme, the suspension, wheels (have always loved and wanted colored rings) to the lighting.. It all came true. Just at the wrong time I guess. Priorities are a little different in reality. Lol

Plus.. I have an opportunity to pay off about 7k in credit card debt. Like I said.. Priorities have changed

Hey man, if you have a chance to pay off your credit cards, get them paid off! No mods are worth carrying a bunch of credit card debt. I made that mistake when I was younger, so now when it comes to truck mods, bikes, whatever, if I can't pay cash up front I simply don't buy it.

I'm pretty sure us your friends have been telling BOTH of you this for years. Not because we wanted to be assholes about it but because we wanted to see you do better.

Good to see you are getting your shit together! You do well!

Have a small list of things I want to do to see if I can improve the truck a bit. Have a few months before the new Tacos come out so I have some time to compare

Ordered a Borla XR-1. 3" in/out. Gonna make another visit to Performance Muffler. They continue to do great work.

Also still trying to track down a stereo issue. Proving to be a PITA.
