Alrighty, team Blue Ribbon. Serious question for y'all.
As the opportunity to buy a new 2nd gen winds down, I'm really leaning towards a BRM DCSB OR.

Question is: How often do you walk outside, look at your truck, and wonder if it's really purple?

I've seen a few in person, and they look really sweet. BUT, there are pics online that worry me.
My first Taco, years ago, was a '96 ext. cab that was a 'blurple-ish' color. It kind of drove me nuts.
And my buddies broke my balls - a lot.

Never. Sometimes it seems like a darker blue but that's it.

I've owned vehicles that were red, green, silver and different shades of blue. After having my BRM for a month now, no doubt it is my favorite color ever. The shine when clean is amazing. I've never thought that it looks purple. Go for it .

Well, thanks for the votes of confidence.
Take a look at the 3rd picture down on page 6 of this thread to see what I'm talking about, haha!

And for the record, this would be my 3rd 2015 Tacoma, a 'hat trick' if you will.

That's why the decision is so big for me, as much a 'first world problem' as it might sound.
My 1st was a Pyrite DCSB Sport 6-speed. I absolutely despised the trans, so I traded
it in on a Magnetic Grey DSCB OR Auto. Liked the OR much more, but sold it because I was very unhappy
    with the build quality.

Probably should just stick with my trusty '99 and call it a day, but I can't seem to shake the itch.

I've pretty much sat and stared at mine all week long :D and I can't see any purple in it at all. Believe me you will not be disappointed at all with this color.

NEVER. Best color IMHO. When the dealer asked which colors I was interested in, I simply replied, "BLUE."

The older indigo blue Tacomas had a slight "purple" look in certain light. The BRMs aren't the same blue shade.

You can even see a purple like colour on the shined up tires. It is definitely just the background.
