I love(d) those things on my 1st gen. Did great in Moab, too, went everywhere I wanted to go. Might get them for the 2nd gen...apparently the Dunflops are only good for about 20k.

I love them best AT tire ever, great handling and are more comfortable riding than most All season tires with an AT agressive look. Great tire for a Daily driver. Had Firestone destination ATs before these and they suck compared to the LTXs in every respect.

I've put 50k on mines, still have shitloads of tread, like being on rails in rain, like onroad when offroad.

I have Falken wild peak AT, they come with a 50k warranty too and I love them ride prefect and they don't hum. I almost got the BFG KO2. I kind wish I did, I seen them on a truck and they look sick!

BF TKOs look sick but are designed for strictly offroad use,if you need a AT that's does groceries, interstate, dirt and don't kill your MPGs >LTX AT2

Yeah, they look neat but...my truck had them on when I bought it used. Uneven wear, loud. I had them off before I ever had to suffer through rain with them. Actually managed to sell them used to some guy who needed them for his old F-150. I was happy to get a little cash to help with the EXPENSIVE Michelins.

Heard the old ones really aren't that great offroad, or at least compared to more modern options.

So i see no one said st maxx by cooper which is arguably the best ATs both in apearance and in performance (off road anyway and snow from what i hear) the only down side is they're only available in e rated so theyre kinda heavy. And i also saw a good bit of praise for the new bfg at that to me (and i have seen both in person) look identical to the old other than the shoulder lugs. I feel like ur payin for a name with bfgs and can get as good or better tires for less my .02

    Now that's commitment! LOL

Personally, I would never put those Michelins on a 4x4 truck. They look way too "street" for me.

I care far less about looks than overall performance and durability. Fact is, offroad is a very small percentage of total drive time for a DD. Wouldn't work for crawling, not designed to. I wouldn't drive a crawler to work anyway.

But if you need something gnarly for the mall, well...I suppose other options are out there.

Dammit, I was literally about to post how proud I am to see no one is suggesting the Nitto Terra Grapplers.
